LMFT — Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT-7193)
Kelly founded Compassion Counseling with one goal: to create a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. She knows what it's like to struggle with mental health firsthand, and that lived experience — combined with over 14 years of clinical expertise — is what makes her approach so genuine and effective.
Kelly specializes in EMDR and trauma recovery, Bipolar Disorder, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and relationship issues. She's one of the most experienced EMDR practitioners in the Idaho Falls area. For clients who want it, she offers Christian counseling and spiritual direction as a member of a non-denominational Christian church — never imposed, always available.

LCSW — Licensed Clinical Social Worker
With over two decades of experience in clinical social work, Sheila brings a deeply grounded and compassionate approach to healing. Since 2001, she has gained experience across diverse clinical settings — including community mental health, inpatient care, nephrology, and correctional facilities — before transitioning to independent practice.
Sheila specializes in the neurobiological treatment of trauma, addressing concerns ranging from medical, dental, and motor vehicle accidents to complex relational trauma. Her clinical orientation is psychodynamic, and she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and somatic techniques to provide holistic, individualized care. She is particularly passionate about Self-Regulation Therapy, which serves as her primary modality in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, and psychotic disorders.
At the heart of Sheila's work is a deep respect for the therapeutic journey. She believes every individual has the capacity to navigate life's challenges when provided with the right tools, support, and understanding. Sheila approaches her work from a Christian perspective while warmly welcoming individuals from all faith backgrounds and belief systems. She views the therapeutic relationship as a sacred space — one that offers the opportunity to be truly seen, accepted, and valued for who we genuinely are.
Specialties
Outside of the office, Sheila finds balance and renewal through spending meaningful time with her family and grandchildren — including her son who serves in the U.S. Navy.
LMSW — Licensed Master Social Worker
Natalie believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are — no pressure, no judgment, just real conversations. Her goal is to create an environment where every client feels comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported.
She enjoys working with individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck. Her approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative — focused on helping you make sense of your thoughts and emotions while building practical tools you can actually use in your everyday life.
Natalie is naturally people-oriented and takes genuine interest in getting to know each client and what matters most to them. Working with people has always been her passion — life can be hard, and she aims to help people not just get through it, but actually enjoy it along the way.
Specialties
Outside of work, Natalie is a big family person. She and her husband are proud parents of a spunky little girl who keeps them on their toes. She's an outdoors girl — paddle boarding, boating, camping, 4-wheeling, and hiking. She's also a sports fan and enjoys creating music on the piano when time allows.
LPC — Licensed Professional Counselor
Joniah primarily works with young adults, adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions about identity and purpose. She also enjoys working with postpartum mothers.

Joniah's clinical experience includes work in community mental health, residential care, and foster care settings. Through these roles, she's had the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of life's most challenging seasons — experiences that have shaped a therapeutic approach that is both grounded and compassionate.
Her style is warm, collaborative, and approachable. She strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without pressure to have everything figured out. She believes therapy works best when it feels genuine, supportive, and rooted in a strong therapeutic relationship.
Specialties
Outside of her professional role, Joniah is a Christian, a wife, and a first-time mom to a baby boy. She enjoys baking sourdough, crafting new coffee beverages, listening to Teddy Swims and the Hamilton soundtrack, and spending time with her dog, Shoelace.
